The HP C4680 is a powerful all-in-one printer that combines
an easy interface and connection process with powerful printing capability.
With a small time investment and minimal effort, even the
least tech-savvy home user among us can have their HP C4680 up and running in
no time, and take full advantage of all of its printing power.
Connect the AC adapter from the AC terminal on the upper right-hand side of the
back panel of the printer to an electrical outlet or surge protector.
Power on the printer using the power button on the front
panel of the printer and specify language and country preferences using the
prompt on the main display of the printer.
Remove the pink tape from the print heads on the provided
ink cartridges.
The tape should come off easily with gentle pressure.
Install the cartridges by opening the main door on the
front of the printer and placing the cartridges into the cartridge cradles.
The HP logo should be facing up. Push the cartridge into the
cradle until it clicks into place.
Attach the USB cable from the printer's USB port to a USB
port on your computer and power on the printer.
Install the setup CD that came with the printer into your
computer's CD-ROM drive and follow the steps for installing the printer
software on your computer.
Your HP C4680 is now set up and ready to use.
