its because that model usually when u pull for the shower is not properly connected. You will have to remove handle and coverplate, then shine flashlight down to see what is happening when pulling rod on tub spout for shower. Usually its broken or bent and just needs new one installed. It cost me 2 buck for new shower rod. Directions u can get free from Moen with free lifetime parts.
You will need to seal any holes made in your acrylic walls inside your bath unit. When installing the brackets to the wall, try using a piece of rubber (pre-cut for a custom look) between the acrylic wall and the bracket mounting hardware. Be sure to seal everything with a clear latex caulk that is designed to resist mold.
I had the same problem. I discovered that an O ring was missing (or I lost it without noticing) from a new diverter that I installed. Just got an O ring that fits on the threaded part of the collar where it meets the pipe. Worked fine. Amazing how a little plastic piece could make such a difference.
Yes you can ! You only have to pull off the rubber end cap and cut it , file off ant burrs. Cut the SMALLER diameter end only, the other end contains the spring !
If you are going to use both a shower curtain and a shower liner, you have two options for installation. You can either use one rod and one set of rings, or you can use two rods and two sets of rings. If you used one rod, line up the liner and the curtain so they are facing one another and thread one ring through each of the corresponding grommets on the both the liner and the curtain. The curtain liner will move as one unit. If you use two rods, you need one set of rings for each, and the liner and the curtain will move independently.
