It has both midi in/midi out connectors but without midi thru.I've use midi in/midi out to midi/gameport cable.System doesn;t recognize an instrument, Reason 2.5 software neither, during the playing still hear a sound from internal keyboard speakers but no midi signal is send to software.
I've also got a Creative Prodikeys DM,regular keyboard with music keys in one connected via PS2 port which briliant works as midi keyboard, but with support of own drivers.Casio ctk-496 haven't any driver, and can't get it on internet (doubt if it even exists).
As i saw i'm not a first with such problem about casio ctk-496.I will try connect it with additionaly line in cable through line in port on soundcard and casio headphones but suppose that brings only line in sound. My goal is get fully operate 61 midi music keys to "live" playing with a software music notes.I have Windows XP Home ed. with 3ServicePack,DirectX compatibile sound card so no problems from my computer.
Greatful toward any response, even to "have no idea" and lot of respect to Your Free Tech Support activities.
