To whom it may concern, I have a PBX KX-TDA100. I have a one IP card,3 DLC16 card, 1 analoge8 cardand 1 local16. i need to add one DLC16 card more but it hasn't any free slot. Is there any way to add an external slot in this PBX? I'm looking forward to hearing from you. your sincerely
What is the analog card used for? How many phones are you trying to add? Another option would be to get a TDA200 cabinet and move the stuff over to it. An installer could convert the system files to the 200 with a little work.

check that the 3 incoming lines are not all together in the plug at the wall
you may need a telephone technician to check it out

The 170 card is an 8-port DHLC and it's pinned exactly like the old 123211 and the TD series systems where the first 2 pairs are the voice and data for a Panasonic Analog phone or a single line set on the first pair, and the 3rd pair is unused in the TDA. There are 8 3-pair sets in the cable and the 25th pair is nothing. Here's a link to an installation manual http://public.carl.airpost.net/Pana/TDA/100_TDA_IM_07-04.pdf The instructions start on page 139.
Get yourself a spare PC with a serial port and go here www.mft.com/phonelogger Ignore all the warnings about XP, just run it in W2000 emulation. It comes with instructions.
