No sound My 250v seems to be linked to my mobile because when someone calls it vibrates. i then press the receive button on my earpiece but I hear nothing. The callers say they hear nothing either although I do speak through the earpiece. It's like the volume has been 'locked' off. Any ideas. . .?

Had the same problem with the BT250v 'connected' to my Nokia 6021. When connected to my notebook, the 250 did produce sound, so decided the Nokia was the problem. Fixed the problem by doing a full reboot of the phone like this:

Jabra: Turn off the 250

Phone: Delete the BT connection to the Jabra (in BT settings)

Phone: Switch off BT

Phone: Turned off the phone (I've even removed the battery)

Phone: Turned on the phone

Phone: Switch on BT

Jabra: Turn on the 250 for detection

Phone: Look for audio devices

Phone: Connect to Jabra

Problem fixed!

When I call people, they can't hear me. What is wrong with my phone?

Your mouthpiece or receiver's earpiece might be not functional. To make sure, please record something and try playing it. If you can hear what you recorded, your mouthpiece is fully functional. Tell the receiver to increase the earpiece volume. Now test whether the receiver earpiece is not working. Tell the receiver to set his phone is speakerphone mode. If he can hear what you say in speakerphone mode, then the receiver's earpiece is not fully functional.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

The problem with your phone is that the earpiece on your phone is bad that is why you cannot hear the party calling you or hear anything while you call.

All you need to do is to replace the earpiece on your phone and you will see that you can hear whoever you are talking to on your phone.

Change the earpiece on your phone and you will see that the problem is solved. meanwhile, you can keep using the headset pending the time you will replace the earpiece.

Take care.

Can't hear anything when i make or receive a call unless i use the speaker option

Your AK mobile brand Motorola has an ear piece problem.

Means the speaker in your phone used for hearing someone when they call is damaged, and it needs to be replace.

So take it to your nearest repairer to remove the damaged earpiece and fix another for you.take care.

New Phone Causing Echo

It sounds like your microphone volume is too loud. Get someone on a call with you so they can tell you how it sounds as you adjust it. Turn down the mic volume by pressing the + & - buttons on the earpiece together once which puts the earpiece into mic adjust mode. Then decrease the mic volume by pressing the minus button a few times until it sounds right. The earpiece will automatically revert to normal mode within a few seconds.
If this doesn't work it may be that you need to adjust the compatibility setting for the new phone. This is the small black dial on the base station. The most common setting is 'A' but you may need to experiment with other settings for that phone.

Motorola H350 - Incoming calls

there is nothing you can do about the delay as it's the time it takes for the bluetooth to send the signal to your earpiece to tell it the call is answered, the only way to stop any delay is to set your phone to auto answer in the bluetooth headphone settings or in the call settings.
