SOURCE: coil element on kitchen aid model ker1201 slow to

some of the coiled eyes have two coils(elements). one of the coils can burn into at any point around the element rendering it useless while the other can still work. when you lift the glass top you will see the elements are shaped like springs. the elements metal is very britlle.it is you have to replace the entire eye to fix it. the coil most likely had a very gap in the break and acted like a short making and breaking connection until the gap was too wide then nothing. easy fix. just replace the entire eye (power UNPLUGGED!!!) match the old wires with the new part as you take the old part off. I mark them even with a sharpie. it has 3 to 5 wires on that plug into the eye unit. estimated cost for the part online is about 40 to 65 bucks.

SOURCE: my keys 700gq0 Kitchen aide dryer wont heat and I

Unplug the dryer and the first thing to do is check for the presence of 220 volts at the wall outlet. If you lost one leg of the 220 volts, it is possible for your dryer to run but there will not be any heat. Once you verified there is definitely 220 volts at the wall outlet, remove the rear cover. On the lower right hand side you will see a silver canister which contains the heating element. Remove the lower two wires directly from the heating element and check this for continuity. If it is good, on the left hand side of the same canister they often install a thermal safety which may have tripped. Do the same test as with the heating element. Remove the wires and test the thermal safety for continuity. If this is good, move to the blower housing on the left side of the exhaust vent and look for a white piece of plastic which has two wires on it. Remove these two wires and check this item for continuity.

Why are both the upper and lower elements of my Kitchen Aid oven not heating?

They are either both bad, there is a connection loose or you through a breaker. Check the breaker box first and that the unit is still plugged in. Then check the elements. If they are black and charred looking then they have burned out.

My kitchen aid "superba " convection oven is not maintaining it's temperature. It has only one heating element on top.

There is a good chance there is a hidden element on the bottom. This is common on higher end ranges. It could be a bad element.

Kitchen aid kgys750gq0 works but there is no heat

The KitchenAid KGYS750GQ0 is a gas dryer, so the solution of looking for a heating element is not helpful. There are several heat switches and a gas burner assembly (which includes a gas valve and an electric ignition), any of which could be the problem.

Trying to locate heating element on kitchen aid dryer

Do you have the part number, is so Put in (Find kitchen aid dryer Part# 111111* ) Or( Find kitchen aid dryer heating element* ). If this is a old dryer some parts are not made anymore. Any Dryer over 7 years old is no longer energy efficient. Hope This Helps.

Electric Kitchen aid, model kerc607...broil elements

What is the complete model # from the sticker on the range? I will need that so I can look into this for you. I will say that I have seen, in several cases, where the oven control gets a surge and fries after an element has broken.
