DISTORTED PICTURE I have an AKIRA rear projector TV . The picture is skewed . Akira PTV-50H08. Please assist or advise me on how to solve this .

In your tv there is a light engine ballast.that light engine ballast controls the colour /picture quality.that engine is got faulty and that needs replacement.if the picture with distorted also looks dim then there is a lamp that also needs replacement with lightengine ballast.but if the picture is distorted but bright then no lamp replacement only light engine ballast.
this is very costly issue to get replaced.near to $350 plus the service charge of the technician who replaces the component.
