We just had a new kenmore elite side-by-side refrigerator installed 24 hours ago. Everything is cool and running well except no ice has formed yet. Our water dispenser works but our ice dispenser is not. The IR seems to be working and the machine makes sound when we push the ice dispenser for ice but there's no ice to come out. How long is it supposed to take for ice to form and the dispenser to work?
Ther is no ice comming out, it suddenly stopped. Kenmore Elite I dont know whats wrong with it I know that water may not be getting into it but how do I solve this problem
Should be no longer than 24hrs. Is the freezer good and cold.. has to reach a certain temp before icemaker activates. Might take little longer if you put a lot of warm things in freezer or refrig. when you made the change. Is there any water or ice in the icemaker itself? Water may not be getting to icemaker call them back out if it dont work soon thats what warrantys for :0)

ice maker stopped making ice. I changed the filter..still no ice. I noticed that the small red light goes out when the door is closed..I am wondering if the electronic board is bad..how can I determine this

our ice maker used to work but all of a sudden it stopped. weve had this fridge for 1 year and up to now its not working. when you push the ice button it makes noise just no ice comes out, and theres even ice in the ice caddy. i dont know whats wrong!
