Go into the setup menu of the TV, and you'll find a category called DISPLAY or ZOOM. That's where you can change the aspect ratio so that it fits on the screen. You'll probably get a gray band on the top and bottom of the screen due to the re-sizing.
same issue with my sylvania 26 in lcd was fine for the longest time, now the picture is too big for screen.
I Have the same problem with my LG 42" Plasma. All the people's heads are cut off!!!
During football games, scores are cut off at top and bottom. Samsung 50'
Sharp Aquos 42' LCD - also picture too big for screen. Use Comcast digital cable!
