postage is the killer you should go to your closest computer outlet im sure they will have one or you might be able to find one closer your place of residence for local pick up

The power adapter for the SimpleDrive is 12V, 2A, with center pin positive. I hope this helps.

You may have a power supply that is defective or is failing. Try another power supply, 12V, 2A, center pin positive.

The drive should work fine bus-powered without the power supply. Just make sure that you use a short cable, less than 18". If you are on a laptop, make sure it is optimized for performance, not battery life as that can decrease the amount of power your computer can supply to the drive.
