G1 not Playing Youtube Videos.

I just purchased a T-Mobile G-1 phone and it will not play the youtube videos.

Every time an error comes up saying "Cannot Play Video". "Sorry, this video cannot be played."

Anyone have an idea of how to fix it?

You can also download the app "Close Everything" from the Android Marketplace. You'll acheive the same result w/out having to wait for a restart. Running this app a few times a day will also extend battery life, as programs running in the background that you've forgotten about will be closed.

I know how it sucks when you purchase a new mobile and you face something like this. But i have an answer for you. i had the same problem last week and i have found a solution from one of my friends. this problem happens when you open many programs at the same time and the programs are stiull running under. To solve the problem go ahead and turn off your G1 mobile for about 30 seconds. it will start working when you turn on your G1. turning off your G1 will close all the programs running under...good luck

Having issues with playing my stored videos on my phone and playing any vids from YouTube as well. Only thing that comes up is sound and a blank white screen. What's the solution to my problem?
some phones are too low speck for videos try charging it and shutting down the phone maybe the phone is to low spec to cope with the video you are playing.

If the phone can browse the web, it can access almost any website. However videos are a different story. That phone only supports H.263 video format. And Youtube doesn't play in that format. So I'm sorry to inform. But there is no way to use your phone to watch youtube.

Maybe your phone doesn't support the function, how about save youtube videos on computer, then convert the format of the downloaded videos in 3gp or mp4 format, and export the videos to your phone, youtube videos will be playable on your LG.

hmmm......try to clear out your content cache and see if that helps. theres 2 ways to do this....

1: MENU > SETTINGS > APPLICATIONS > MANAGE APPLICATIONS > BROWSER > CLEAR DATA

2: BROWSER > MENU > MORE > SETTINGS > SELECT CLEAR CACHE, CLEAR HISTORY, CLEAR ALL COOKIE DATA, CLEAR PASSWORDS
