Tries tv unplug replug it back like about an hour later for the tv do a resetting itself back to the factory setting,this might help to solved this problems.Check the sound setting in the tv setup Menu it to speaker out not something else.If u are using the tv speakers.If u are using sound bar system or reciever system make sure all the connections output are correct and functioning,this will solved the problems.

Vizio E390 a1 works fine for 30-60 minutes. Then flickers vertical distorted colored lines. They come and go and cover about 1/3 of the screen. I've already checked ribbon connections.
Sounds like the driver board for the display is at fault.

Vizio Model E390-A1 Screen lights up white no sound . I can see the picture lightly in the background.
The t con board or the LCD panel is faulty. To confirm You have to replace the TCON board

Check and replace it power supply regulator board. Check and replace damaged component/s at it main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. Hook up dvd player
There are few ways to make a mistake. Just follow the COLOR coded cable, making certain Red goes to Red, etc. Look at the connector source from the player and attach the cable to the OUT from the Player to the IN on what ever you wish to attach it to.

sounds like a faulty amp chip, take the set in for repair or try it yourself, but if your asking this question chances are you cant repair it yourself. heat is what cause this fault in the first place, mute the tv and use external speakers 10$ at radioshack- repair to the unit may not be worth it good luck.... questions ask

Make sure speakers are hooked to proper connectors. Also check speaker switch "A"/ "B"/ "A+B" is positioned to correct speakers.
