You need to update the toy. Connect it to your Learning Lodge Navigator. You should be prompted for an update.
On startup, after displaying the MobiGo® 2 animated graphic, the VTech MobiGo® 2 system shows this message in white letters on a blue background:
"System problem found. Please connect the unit to the computer to resolve it."
VTech offers a tutorial on solving this problem, which did not work for me: http://www.vtechkids.com/tutorials/mobigo/Message%20System%20Problem%20Found
When I plug in the USB cable to a Windows 7 64-bit Pro computer, the Learning Lodge Navigator opens and detects it. After selecting it, the Learning Lodge displays this message:
"Updating your MobiGo® 2...
This may take a while to complete. Please do not disconnect or turn off the MobiGo® 2."
With old batteries in the unit, the progress bar on the PC would not move and it would almost immediately go to the next message.
With fresh batteries in the unit, the progress bar made it nearly half-way, and then displayed the message:
"There was an error updating your MobiGo® 2. Please disconnect the USB cable, turn off your MobiGo® 2 and turn it back on to try again."
When I follow those instructions, it repeats the same steps and is stuck in that loop.
Is there a manual download that I can flash/update the device outside of the Learning Navigator?
