Would like to get technical explanation and assistance about my SGS3,android version 4.1.2 If i check battery consumption shows that media takes 80%,screen 5%. Worse of all the battery spends ONLY 7 hours if left idle. I have tried all battery saving technics offered but all in vein. Now tell me what to do because this phone is making me sick as i love it. I will be very grateful for the reply.

have you let the battery go totally flat as this is recomended to do every couple of months because if you dont let the battery go totally flat this stops the battery from full recharging and will cause bad cells in the batt so i would let hte battery totally flat till it wont even light phone up then fully charge for 16 hours see if this improves the battery if not then the charger is probably over heating and cutting off so you could replace the charge hope this is some help to you

Hi, OK well I wonder IF the Drivers are Win 7 compatible? Doubtful? Anyway what you may need to do is Install the software ALL the software drivers, install .exe, and actually running it, as Administrator in Compatibility Mode for XP SP 2.
Win 7 and USB are a nightmare if NOT directly supported and have a driver written exclusively for the device you are trying to use, it simply will not work.
Also IF a 64 bit machine, you may need to set to OFF Digital Driver Signing. At boot up press F8 and select it from bottom of menu, each and every time you boot up.
Older phones simply will NOT play well with Win 7 as simple as that, again unless the Phone, and Win 7 are of the same "Age" IE: A modern unit only about 12 months old or so will work.
This is one of the biggest problems with Win 7, there are ways around, such as installing an XP/Vista virtual machine and using that to access the phone, trying "Other" softwares to connect,
