Take the side panel off to see whether the tape is damaged and will not retreat into the cassette ( this will prevent ejection ). Remove old damaged cassette and insert new one. If the unit chews the new cassette camera should go in for VTR service.

I have a VCR Panasonic NV - FJ623 and when I insert a video cassette into it for playback or recording purposes,it always ejects the video cassette. Can you help, please?

I'ts likely that the record sensor that pushes on the tab on the tape is bent or broken. Making the VCR think you are trying to record on to a protected tape.

MX2, it displays the following: "remove the cassette" or eject. I thought it was a condensation problem but all attempts failed, please help me.

On Canon camcorders, "remove the tape" error is due to no data reading by video head. You may have clogged heads or somewhere along the area. Initially, I would try to insert good clean "video head cleaning tape" and run for about 7 seconds and see if that resolve the symptom. If it persists, it need a help from a technician. Good Luck. Sony camcorders C:31:23 error
Take the battery out and turn selection switch to camera and then turn it off. Put the battery back in and its working again.
if that doesn't work try
Try smacking the side of the camera relatively hard with the palm of your hand. Eject the tape and reinsert. You may need to do this a couple of times.
good luck

Can not load any cassette even empty cassette holder can not be closed.

I had the same problem and solved it by removing the battery to allow the camera to reset. Worked fine after that.
