Http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/tutorials/v1073/index.jhtml Go to the picture you protected in your review. (that's the Arrow Play Button) Find the photo then press the menu button. (that's the second button down out of the three that are back there) A menu will appear on the screen, over the top of the photo you want to unprotect. Tap the down arrow, once. You'll see Protect in the list. By tapping it you can turn on and off the protect on your photos. The link above is the Kodak site that runs a small demo on how to do this.

How to unlock a photo in camara

The protect function allows a user to protect a picture from accidental deletion. To unprotect a picture on your camera, scroll to the protected picture that you want to delete, then press the Menu button (the button to the right of the Play button.) Scroll down the menu and you should come to an option that allows you to Protect/Unprotect the picture. Since your picture is currently protected, deselect that option. You should then be able to delete the picture normally.

Alternatively, you could also format the memory card, however this deletes ALL photos and data you have on the memory card. If you are trying to completely clear the memory, this is the best way. After turning on your camera, simply press the Menu button, scroll to Setup, then scroll down to Format. Select Format, it will ask you if you want to format the memory card, or the camera's built-in memory. Format whichever one you want to clear, if you are using a memory card then your pictures are stored on the memory card. It will take a few seconds to format.

Hope this helps.

How do i unprotect my sd card because i cant upload pictures

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

I put my memory card into my Kodak EasyShare C143 digital camera. I press the review button, but all that comes up is that the file is 'Unrecognised'. One out of the three pictures is unprotected, but the...

It sounds as if the card was not formatted for the camera before it was put to use. My suggestion is that you attempt to download the images that you do have to the computer, then format the memory card. Always format a new card and after each time you download pictures from the card to the computer.

How to unprotect the memory card

If I understand correctly what your asking what is the brand and size of the memory card. If I were to take a stab at it right now I would assume there is a lock/unlock switch on the card. Have you had this problem with the card before?
Good luck,
