I'm running wind 2000, and last few months my computer has been running slow. A couple weeks ago I finally paid for the full version of spy-ware doctor V-6. Now it takes a couple minutes to boot up, and when it is running, it is using all of my virtual memory. The process that is doing it is ---pctsSvc.exe---, I understand that this can be corrupted.. I run registry cleaner, the free AVG, I defrag regularly. Do I have to uninstall Spyware Doctor?

Unfortunately, it could be a number of things. I assume you have tried something else in the same power point to see that power is there? If the unit is dead, it could be a safety device has tripped out. Check if there is a reset button or similar on the fan. If not, the fan will need to be taken apart to find out what it is. There may be a broken cable or loose wire.
need a lot more info, BUT to me, 1 Change the Trans fluid WITH filter, and check the inside of the Pan for Grit, I would say you have a lot in there from the "Clutch discs, Second the Transmission MOST likely has over 160K in miles, I assume your Torque Convertor solenoid switch is bad, Which is why you are running Slow and the trans has no power/ Slow speed, it's running in both gears 1ft & 2nd at the same time so your beating up the transmission a lot .. You need Service..
You might check the pulleys that the serpentine belt runs on. Make sure all are free wheeling and not loose or rough or make noise. You would need to remove the belt to check them.

your post is 1 year old. i started helping others 1 week ago. as a fellow rio owner im here to help there are currentl over 5000 un answered posts. if you still need help re-post your problems .its free to get your check engine light checked at most auto parts stores . write down the codes and meanings. 03 kia rio's are blue booked at about $500.
if you re-post with a code you can get faster help. if your car dont have a code . its hunt and guess . my guess would be throtle position sensor,knock sensor or mass air flow
sounds like water from ethonal in gas or trash try to find some stabil ethonal treatment and run it in every tank but first try to turn your gas on and drain your carb bowls with the screww on the very bottom of the carbs drain into glaas to see if there is any water or trash or to see if you are getting fuel let me know
Set machine to wind the bobbin to check for how fast the machine will run. I believe it will run fast or slow according to how hard you depress the foot control. If it runs fast and slow you have a problem in the machine. Most likely the machine, if turned by hand, is hard to turn and it needs to be professionally serviced. before it is ruined. sewman7
