You'll need to insert your key into the trunk lock. prior to doing this you'll need to use the automatic lock on the driver side of the vehicle, hit the unluck button twice. Torn the key in the trunk to the left, you may have to slightly press the trunk button in while doing this and give it a lttle wiggle after the key has been turneed to the left push the button all the way in, if this does not work repeat the process but reverse to the right instead of the left.

This manually disables the remote lock for your trunk.

2006 s40 volvo emergency trunk release wont work

try having someone jiggle the trunk up and down from the outside while you pull on the emergency release from the inside, you may have a problem with the wiring in the trunk itself, the wires have a problem chaffing where they come out of the trunk lid and go into the car, you can disconnect both ends and replace that for about $30

I'm looking for the fuse for the trunk for a 94 park ave my trunk lid won't shut and I believe its the fuse I show I have no power to the trunk. If you could please help me and let me know witc

you might try lubricating the trunk latch with a silicone spray or wd-40 and unlocking it with the key while it is open. There is a chance there is a small broken spring in the latch that is not pulling it over to full unlock position and when you tried to shut the trunk it is actually already in the locked position.

Trunk lock wont open

if you do hear the click noise then that means your trunk is now unlocked. Try giving it as much force as you can while someone else is hitting the trunk release, your hinges for your trunk are probably hung up on something.
