The Maxxum GT is a Maxxum 3 relabeled for a single retailer. You may download a copy of the Maxxum 3 manual from here.

You should still be able to get an AF-3 manual (e-copy) from the Kodak website, or contact the George Eastman House Museum. Good Luck!

I believe they still have a .pdf version in the Kodak website (www.kodak.com - then search on "slide projectors).
If you have a specific question, re-post that question & I'll give it a go...

As I understand it, Sony bought Minolta, lock, stock, and barrel. Theoretically the lenses should fit and may work on manual, but I'm very sure they will not totally work on sony digital cameras. I wouldn't even try to fit them as the autofocus system on the camera may be damaged.

You have a film camera, you should have AF lenses. The AF lenses are larger round then older manual lense as you can have the older Minolta lens will fit the newer cameras, just not auto focus. If your AF is not working with AF lenses, I will assume you have power to the camera (batteries) These camera are not hard to use. To AF the camera, press the shutter down slightly (you can try without film) and it should focus on the center of your shot. Indoor and under low light, they will have trouble with these older AF bodies.

Virtually all the old Minolta lenses are compatible with the new Sony SLRs.

For the two you mention, you will need to check whether the lenses are the AF or MF versions.

Both will fit, but AF is the auto-focus one, and MF is (obviously!) manual-focus.
