Trying to change a fax number in memory

I don't have the manual and Ricoh can't help so I am hoping someone will be my hero and give me the answer that I am looking for. I am trying to change a number that has been programmed into our fax machine and also print out a new list with all of the programmed numbers on it.

Ricoh MP C4501 - How to change ring count for this fax machine?

What you are looking for is the Ring Count Delay.

Unfortunately it looks as though this is not an option for this unit.
Here is the manual for the MP C4501.

I need to reset the terminal name and number on the fax portion of the Ricoh Aficio 450 copier. Can anyone assist what that?

The fax user manual for the 450 is no longer available from Ricoh, so I can't check for sure, but the basic procedure is to press the User Tools button, go into Fax Features, and under one of the tabs will be a box where you can change the fax header information.

Hope that helps!

Ricoh fax 120 please let me know how to put ricoh on automatic fax receiving while not in the office also when someone rings i can hear the fax sound from my ricoh

Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";} - Follow the next instructions to change the reception mode :
1. Press the [F2] key. “ this key is located on the left side of the Control Panel next to the key [12] from the left side and next to the [Memory Trans.] key from the rigt side ”
2. Press the left arrow key to select the reception mode “ this key is located under the Display of the Control Panel”
3. Press the [OK] key when on the display is displayed the mode you want.
note:as you sad you want the machine to reaceive faxes when you are out of the office, so the reception mode [Auto Select] is the most compaible mode for you.
The machine can treat incoming fax
messages and telephone calls in three
ways.
1.Manual Receive
- Use this mode if your line is shared
by a fax machine and a telephone
but you wish to answer all calls
yourself and decide whether they
are fax documents or telephone
calls. You must manually press the
[Start] key to receive a fax.
The machine will ring continuously
until you answer the call, so you
have to be near the machine at all
times. The Manual Receive indicator
is lit when the machine is in this
mode.
2. Auto Receive
- Use this mode if you have a dedicated
fax line. The machine assumes
all calls are fax documents.
It will ring once to alert you of an
incoming call, and then starts receiving.
3. Auto Select
- In this mode, the machine rings a
number of times. You can answer
the call while the machine is ringing.
If you do not answer the call,
the machine automatically changes
to receive fax messages.

No fax tone giving if this fax mode only

Using "on hook" you should hear a dial tone, if you have one then dial a known good fax number. It could also be in manual receive mode. -Carl

CAN'T RECEIVE A FAX

you can get the manual here: - LINK

Basically you plug your phone line into the fax machine line in and set the ring pick up to the desired length.

When someone calls you the fax should pick up and take the data.

Ricoh 3500L fax machine

i think you are in manual mode.. try searching for an auto mode, or a big button to receive faxes.. ... in manual mode, the guy should usually ask (in a call) you to give you feed so you give him line by pressing some big button.. and you also need to always have paper.. otherwise it wont be done
