Lg qwerty I have a qwerty remote that came with my LG Google TV. It no longer will access the TV's menu, the keyboard on the back does not work, the menu button does not work and the Input button does not work. When I hit the home button it takes me to the ATT Uverse menu. How do I fix this? I've had the tv for less then 6 weeks and this is just another incident in a long series of incidents where the remote messes up. And before you tell me to turn off the tv and reboot, change the batteries in the remote, unplug whatever.... I've tried all that. Any help would be appreciated. :)

Be sure that your TV is set to channel 3 or 4 if you are using the RF cable or Video 1, etc if using the Audio/Video cable.  The Installation  Guide should appear.  The "improved" picture that you are seeing is simply the analog throughput, not the digital conversion.

A learning remote found at Target works great! It is a universal GE 5 device remote control (model 24950) - and the best thing is that it is under $13! It can only be purchased in the store, but if you go on the Target site, you can check if your local Target has them available.

I came across this looking for a similar solution for my Samsung TV, and I found the solution on ehow.com. Apparently after you program the remote for your TV you have to hold mute and select again until it flashes twice then put in 960 to make the remote control TV input too. Note you're remote should be in TV mode while you do this. It seems silly that the DirectTV guy wouldn't do this when programming the remote.
