Lexmark x7675 all-in-one printer won't accept paper type. I am trying to print onto an 8-1/2 x 11 iron-on t-shirt transfer sheet, but it won't let me. It also won't let me print onto card stock-weight business cards. However, it will let me do this at other times with the same types of paper. It is just depends on what day it is as to whether or not I can do it or not. Sometimes it is no problem, and other times it will say ''unsupported paper type''. I have tried to change the default on the paper type, but it still does not help. This is very frustrating and holding up my work.

Your printer has a separation pad that is worn out and needs to be replaced. This pad prevents the printer from feeding multiple pages. It is located in the inside front of the paper tray Assembly.

I have to select -print first then when I get the "load paper" message, turn the printer off . wate a few seconds then turn it back on. I will then feed the paper and print. I may end up replacint the printer.

Iron-ons are very waxy and the ink may not adhere if not put on thickly. Bellow are some suggested printer settings. For the best results check your printer manual or with your printer's manufacture.
CANON: T-shirt transfers.
EPSON: High quality glossy paper or special coated paper, depending on the model.
HEWLETT-PACKARD: High quality glossy paper.
Lexmark: T-shirt transfers.
IMPORTANT: Then set the paper thickness lever on your printer for standard paper. You want the ink nozzles very close to the page.
