Codes are to the television maker, they don't change depending on the make of remote used. But as I said, no one buys universals, you buy a copy remote made for the make model you have.

I recently bought a used LCT2060 that had no remote. I figured my comcast cable remote would work without a problem but it didn't. So 3 universal remotes later I found my solution...a radio shack universal gamer remote. It controls up to 5 components plus your xbox360, playstation and pc. I think you should look over the Internet to buy one from places like Ebay for your brand of TV.

just replace the infrared diode of your remote control in you dont know how to do that..ask the tecnician to change in infrered diode in your remote control

I have had on order since December 2007 the Akai replacement remote #WIR3500001-EQ01 the Akai TV/DVD combo model #CFTD2011. I called each month for 5 months, being told each time that it was on backorder. A few days ago, I received a letter in the mail stating that this remote is no longer made and is not available.

I too have tried universal remotes without any luck. If anyone has a resolution, it would be greatly appreciated.
