From two different websites: The same answer

1) "F-11 seems to have been an emergency hot key for police use"

The website:
http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/rubber-illuminated-kb-cf-29.239110/

2) "The red F11 can be programed to report through police dispach an officer is in trouble. This key only works with Special software used by Law Enforcement."

The website:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/toughbook/J__ssDTCm_0

Both these guys gave the same opinion and both seem
very knowledgeable.

Good Luck!

How to get full screen from off to on

Usually the F11 key is used to change from Full to regular screen size.
If you are using a mini keyboard with only ten Function keys, press the Fn key together with the F1 key and this will make it into an F11 key.
Be aware that laptop keyboatds are usually set up to use the alternate function; so you must simultaneously typw the Fn (blue) key and the F11 keys together to toggle the Full Screen Function
Best Regards.

I have p4 computer. when i start computer booting . computer ask press f11 for bbs poppup . when i press key f11, this is not forword another page , computer prossing stop, what can i do.

It sounds like you are having an issue with the boot process on your computer. The F11 key is typically used to access the Boot Device Menu, which allows you to select a boot device other than the default boot device. If pressing the F11 key is not causing the Boot Device Menu to appear, there may be a problem with the boot process or with the F11 key itself.
Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Make sure that the F11 key is functioning properly. You can test this by pressing the F11 key in a text editor or word processor to see if it works as expected.
  2. Check the BIOS settings to see if the F11 key is enabled for boot device selection. The BIOS settings can usually be accessed by pressing a key such as F2 or Del immediately after turning on the computer.
  3. Make sure that the boot device you want to select is properly connected to the computer and is recognized by the BIOS.
  4. Check the boot order in the BIOS settings to make sure that the boot device you want to select is listed first.
  5. If you have tried these steps and the issue persists, it may be a good idea to try booting from a bootable USB. This will help you determine if the problem is with the computer's hard drive or with the boot process itself.

F11 doesn't work as fullscreen toggle for Windows 8

Have you tried the fn key (bottom left, next to ctrl key)?

On my HP laptop running Windows 8.1, pressing f11 mutes the speaker (as per the logo on the key top) and fn+f11 in IE & Firefox toggles full screen.

What keys do i push to get f11 on a sylvania netbook

You may need to download and install the latest BIOS update for this function to work, but here it the key combos for both the F11 and F12 function keys.

With the latest BIOS update, Fn+Z should be F11 and Fn+X should be F12.

My f11 keys doesn't work and can't turn on my wireless.

i suspect your f11 key does work, try opening a web browser and while it is open press the f11 key if your browser goes full screen the f11 key works just press f11 again to return it to normal. Try pressing and holding the fn key and then press f11 that will switch your wireless on and off

When i click on the letters p,i,j,l,u, numbers will appear.

You have by accident turned on your number lock key that lets your right keys act as a number pad. if you look atthe keys you cited you will find an additional number in another color. You activate this key Fn+F11, that is hold down the Fn key and tap the F11 key to turn it on, do it again and you turn it off. On your keyboard it may not be F11, so look for Numlk.
