Question about Whirlpool ET1WTKX Top Freezer Refrigerator
Whirlpool top freezer ET1WTKXKQ01. Both fans running in freezer and under fridge. Cleaned coils on bottom. Freezer temp stays 28-32. fridge mid 40s. Turned temp dial down to 1 and still continues to run.
There was no ice build up in freezer. I removed back wall in freezer and there was a little ice on coil.Emptied and turned off refrigerator for about 8 hours. Turned back on let run for a couple of hours and still no change in temperature. Freezer still only 32ºF.
I have left it off over night and turned back on, no change.
6 hours later freezer still running, now at 28º f. Fridge at around 48º f. still leaving empty. first noticed about a week ago ice cream staying mushy. Refrigerator is about 7 years old.
Is it possible to be stuck in defrost mode? Please Help
