If you did a factory reset, you have erased ALL data on the phone, and returned it to the state it was in when it was removed from the box. On cell phones, unless you have snyced it to your PC or backed it up in some way, all is lost. You may have a shot at checking with you carrier to see if they backed it up for you, but that doesn't usually happen unless you activate it yourself.

How do you undo a factory reset on a Kyocera hydro smartphone

Most of the time you cannot restore back to before you did a hard reset unless you backed up everything to an external device such as an sd card or to your computer. Unfortunately phones don't normally have restore points incase this happens :(

How can i undo *#7780# format on my Nokia 6680 phone? I just lost all my contacts!?! Thanks.

Actually The code *#7780# it's for restoring the setting in a soft way. (selecting 'settings only will reset all preference settings. Restoring will not delete any personal data. After restoring, the phone will restart)
where as *#7370# it's for hard way (lets you restore settings and delete personal data. You will not be able to use or switch off the phone during the restore, even for emergencies Restoring may take several minutes. After restoring, the phone will restart).

But there is no other means to recover the contact no.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Locked nokia e86 how to format

Factory settings reset. In standby, dial *#7780# and the phone's lock code (the Nokia's default lock code is 12345). This reset restores phone's original settings.

Soft reset. In standby dial *#7370# and the phone's lock code.
Warning!Soft reset deletes all your phone's data, so backup your stuff before you do a soft reset!

Downloaded XRAYPC Ativirus program and my compute lost sound and ability to restore to a different date. It place some files in zip files. I don't know why. I had not even done anything with it .

ummm it would be very difficult to undo the changes without running a system restore, go to www.combofix.org, download combofix and run it. i can't guarantee it will fix the problem, but it's worth a shot
