SOURCE: Need wiring harness color coded diagram for pioneer dehp6800mp.

Hello randscates,

Here's a link to the manual. The wiring color code for the supplied harness is on page 78. The diagram is rotated 90 degrees clockwise. I recommend that you download the PDF and print out the page you need.

Hope this helps.

1999 Chevrolet Lumina. I am trying to put a new stereo into it. I have connected all wires to new stereo and it switches on but absolutely no sound is coming out of speakers? Help.

This is the stock wiring. Sometimes you need a conversion wiring harness to whatever aftermarket radio you are fitting. Crutchfield does them. The first this to try is bench testing the radio, with power, ground and one speaker, especially if it is not new.

Installing after market stereo

Dave,

You will need to go buy a wiring harness adapter from your local Walmart (usually cheapest there) or Local Electronics place (ie Best Buy). The wire harness that goes out from the radio goes into the Adapter and the adapter plugs into the car harnesses. Also these Adapters come with the wiring diagrams for your vehicle. They typically run 10 - 15 bucks depending on where you get them. Thanks for using FixYa!

Sincerely,

JC
