    I have 3 phones, just purchased and charged. The main phone is fine - the other two say Please Register and have no dial tone. Please help

    we bought 2 phones and the main one is working properly but the second one says "please register" i went through all the steps in the users guide but nothing...???

    G.E. MODEL # 25952 SERIES , WORKED FINE FOR A WEEK , NOW NO DIAL TONE ON ANY OF THEM . TRIED ALL THE FIXES BUT SO FAR NONE HAVE WORKED

I brought GE cordless with base and two additions. Corded base works fine but the two wireless are muffled and listeners complian. My previous cordless was Vtech. I going back to Vtech and throwing GE's out. They are no good.

Have the 2 phones ,and cant figure out how to register other phone??
Place the phone on the base cradle for atleast 20 seconds and the phone security code will register automaticly. Its recommended if the phone has not been charged to put it on the cradle for 16 hours before use.

Registering handset
If all else fails, read the instructions.

"4. Place the handset in the base cradle. The charge/in use indicator turns on, verifying the battery is charging. The unit will take 20 seconds to register and verify its security code. READY shows in the handset’s display."

House phone problem
Please be sure to put the extra handset in the MAIN base station to register. They will not register in the small remote charger stations.

Let me know if that fixes the problem!

Register problem
Each handset has to sit in the base cradle for at least 15 seconds to register. It should say ready within a few seconds. Same thing after the power shuts off. All handsets have to be re-registered in the main base set.

Please register
I charged my three brand new GE model 25922 for 24 hours, placed each handset in the main base to satisfy the "PLEASE REGISTER" message and the message remains. The only instruction in the manual as well as on the 800 448-0329 # is to place each handset in the base unit for 20 seconds.

Whont work, please register in displayed on screen
To solve the register problem.... Put each phone for 20 seconds or so in the main base. I had the same issue, and resolved it this way.
