Today I bought a Razer Carcharias Headset for 70$ at a best buy... I got home to plug it in and the mic worked fine, However the headphones didnt... I dont know what the problem is though! I tried restarting and the headphones are brand new and not tampered with. Possible reason might be I haven't installed any drivers but I dont know....

The whole thing is probably plastic and subject to breakage if you're not careful. I've found that gentle pressure on plastic pieces works most times. But--that's the trick. How to get just the right pressure. I'd sure try it, but be careful. Glueing that type of plastic is very difficult. It can be done, usually, by melting the pieces together with lacquer thinner.
Dude exact same thing happened to me... i just bought today my new charcharias and then there was like some wierd noice and then it just went off/black
Possible that the wires would have wriggled off from the jack side due to some ****. to confirm you will need to check one by one afteropening the sides,the continutiy of the wires to the jack and to the mic.
if ther is no continutiy replace the wires and jack. You can also dissect the jack to get to the problem and patch this up after finding the open wire. Ok
i have cyber acoustics headset and i cant hear anything but my Mic works, my sound is all fine, when i plug my headset out i can hear but when its plugged in, i cant hear anything.
