i think you have a basket drive tube problem, what happened to mine was the thrust washer had ground off the bottom of my tube, the clip that holds the brake release arm fell off,the arm fell down breaking the 2 little pins on it, without that arm on the tube it won't release the brake allowing the basket to spin, you would have to remove the tranny to see if there is a problem there,,,,,also the top of the tube there is 2 notches that line up in your drive block, could be broken there,,,,you would have to remove the agitator to check there!
Check the motor coupling. Remove the cabinet, pump and motor and see if the coupling (designed to break if the transmission or motor jams) is broken. Check the Sears site

Solution for Washer Kenmore 80series stopped on SPIN CYCLE and no Drainage or motor running.
** What was stopping it to drain was the defective limit switch which when the cover lid is closed starts the spin and the drain at the same time. I jumped the wires to get my close washed and I have to replace it for security. I had to unscrew the front control panel and remove the casing that wraps around the washer to have access for the limit switch wireing harness. I cut the two black wires and joined them with a wirenut so that I was able to continue my wash and draining the water leftt over.
The clicking is probably the motor trying to start. If it has a belt, try to remove it to see if the motor can run alone. If the motor cannot run alone, it will have to go to a motor rewinder for repairs. If the motor runs, turn the next part by hand to see if it has a problem.
