How do I connect an external radio shack AM enhancer

Nope... seems that since Radio Shack folded up it's tents almost all of the old links have dried up! And GEE, I had one of these scanners but have no idea where it is now?

you need a so-238 connector that has a b n c connection. Radio Shack has them .

Connect Nortel PABX external page port output to the amp input.


Either by phone plug or RCA connector, any of the two will work.

FM reception is weak

What to do

• Extend the power cord as much as possible. The FM antenna is in the power cord.

• Move the power cord to adjust the FM antenna

• If you still have problems with FM reception, you may need an external antenna.

The external antenna on your radio is a coax (round) design It needs an adaptor and an antenna which are cheap.

Easy to make, radio shack "F" connector 90 degrees or straight, to 300 ohm wire connections. Attatch a 300 ohm flat ribbon antenna cable to those two screws and plug into radio and see how your reception is. You will need to position the antenna wires to get best reception. I have hid them in back of paintings and so on.

Yes. Take the monitor, camera and VCR to any radio shack store and they will show you what cables you need. In the event that the monitor has no external plugs to recieve signals they can recommend a local shop that will add the connectors to the tv.

Well I thought I had one of the mini-jack to F type connector cables ordered but then it became Discontinued at PacParts.com. However, if Radio Shack still carries those F-connector to mini-mono earphone plugs then with another F-type Quick Connect you can make one with a length of RG-*.*/U cable with F-type screwon male connectors. Almost every one has some of those cable or satellite pieces laying around or stored and with proper adapters can fashion one for their portable TV's.
