Washing machine going through cycle up to point where it should drain and then not going any further. I have cleaned out filter. When the filter is open the water runs freely from the drum out through the filter. I have also checked that water will run back through the drainage pipe to the filter, so there does not appear to be a physical blockage. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Siobhan

my whirlpool 6th sense will not start all lights and power i think that it is the door sensor at fault? The green light door locked light is not on.

Remove the bottom casing covering the front of the machine just above the floor. Unscrew the circular cap SLOWLY- beware of vast amounts of water escaping though!
I had to use a low height roasting pan to catch water, and just unscrew the cap enough so as to control the flow of water, and enable to empty water away until its all gone. Incidentally, an old hairgrip was found to be the cause of my problem.
Confusingly, "clean pump" meant clean filter!

take top off machine. look down right side and you will see a disc about 50 mm in diameter, attached to this is a small flexible rubber pipe, take this off at the disc and blow through it,( you will need some type of pipe to connect to the rubber pipe).this worked for me with the very same problem.

Hi,
Both of these fault codes point to a pressure switch issue. If you remove the top panel, three screws in the back, you will have access to the pressure switch. With the tub empty, remove the vinyl hose from the switch and blow backwards through the hose to clear any restrictions. If the fault codes return after doing this, you will likely need to replace the pressure switch.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
Hi
This issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged
drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and
remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower
front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs,
you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. Hope this
helps... Please post back for any further assistance.
