Washing mashine dispalys symbol not in users manual.Where time is displayed it shows a symbol that look like a padlock.The machine does have a key symbol on side panel. Door is showing unlocked. Cannot start or change cycle panel. Can you help please. karen

I gather that the interlock has been replaced and now the padlock symbol lights up plus some clicking. I think the clicks are the door lock engaging and the padlock just shows this. Do the clicks continue? Does the door stay locked? If so I believe you have a fix.

this symbol means that the lock is on for the controls. this is a feature so that nobody can use it (childproof) If your machine comes with that feature. if not then it indicates your door is locked

Press the "option" and "extra" buttons until the lock symbol disappears.

my father had a zanussi dishwasher that did the same thing, turns out one of the door sensors had gone and would not release the lock. had to get an engineer out, luckily it was under warranty.

you need to hold the option and extra rinse buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds, this will unlock it.....so turn the machine on and press the two icons, dont worry about the beeping and flashing after 6 seconds the padlock symbol will go and you can use the machine as usual

The dial is probably locked. Look for a little padlock symbol on the display. Check the user manual for Dial or keyboard lock. Generally on Yaesu radios you use the function key plus a keyboard key. If the keyboard is labeled, you should see something that looks like a padlock next to the correct function key.

the padlock led indicates that bthe door is open or poss interlock fault, however since you said it now trips fuses, IF you are not electrically minded call an expert something could of become disconnected or moisture could of got into the machine and blown the module
