Yes, but you need the factory code also. First enter the factory code (5 digits), then press the 1/2 button, then enter your own 5 digit code. You can use either code now, but there is noo way to erase the factory code.

98 Ford Explorer Door Problems- how to open without panel removal. inwinblades .... HELLO panel removal??? door won't open... Been searching all ... ok this better work on all doors, im aboutt o try this on my rear passenger door. .... I didn't care about the plastic door handle so i just "busted" it to pieces.
no, the only way to reset it would be to replace the module for it, i think the dealer with the vin number can tell you the code for the control, good day.
you should have 2 fuse blocks, 1 under the hood and 1 inside vehicle near drivers side door or under dash on drivers side. anyways the fuse number for the horn is fuse number 10, however, i am not sure which fuse block this fuse is in, i think it is the inside the vehicle fuse block.
Just get both generic part numbers from autozone or O'Reillys. If you use the Ford numbers the year number can show a different number in their part number sequence. Whether you can see the Amps rating on the alternator without removal is iffy.
you can find the keyless entry codes for the number pad, to unlock and lock your truck, on the keyless entry module, located under dash left side, the code will be the numbers in bold print, these are the factory code numbers
You will have to find the program code which is located on the processor either in the right front glove box area by the kick panel or in the left rear compartment when the hatch is open...you will see the 6-8 digit security key numbers and enter them on the key pad wait for thebeeps to begin and put your code in quickly befor the beeps end. I would be more specific but as I remember It varied for different models also I worked at Japanese dealerships along with Ford.
Thank you. Will give it a try
