Automatic Allignment Problem

After installing a new black ink cartage and running automatic alignment, I got "The printer could not be automatically aligned" error message. After several times of re-seating the cartage, rerunning the alignment and head cleaning routines, the problem still persists. If I print a letter, the black is almost not present at all on the first line and as lines progress down the page, black starts becoming visible on the right and by 1/3 the way down the page it is visible across the entire line. This is the case with every single page letter I print. But if I print a multi page letter, the second page only has a very slight problem in the upper left corner and the remaining pages are OK.

I have a hp photosmart 3210 all-in-one and it keeps printing the same thing over and over as soon as you turn it on

It can happen due to different causes:
If the cartridges are new, the automatic alignment process is not complete, for that:
1.Turn off the printer and turn it on again
2.Let the printer print the allignment page
3.After printing the alignment page, disconnect the USB cable which is connected behind the printer
4.Place the allignment sheet inside the scanner glass and press the scan button on the printer
The alignment is complete when the printed page is scanned
Turn off the printer and turn it on again, it should be fixed

The other possible causes might be:
The cartridges are not correctly installed or one of the cartridges is defective.
In that case reinstall the cartridges after cleaning them with lint free soft cloth.

If that does not work, then at least one of the cartridges need to be replaced

Black is not printing

Try this to unclog printhead.
take out cartridge, locate the hole where ink goes trough, put a can of compressed air and blow it.
put some paper under the printhead to catch ink.

For C3180, after install a new black ink cartage. Every time I turn it on, it will print the ''align the new cartridge''.

This type of proble occure due to faulty EEPROM of the printer it seems that EEPROM is not saving the configuration. please run EEPROM resetter to reset your EEPROM.

Turn off alignment feature

After you install new ink cartridges or attach the printer to a different computer it will go through this exercise. Make sure you also do the next step... a scan of what you printed-out; or you'll get that message every time.

My Canon i860 just can't print out black words, it's frustrating

pull the ink cartage back out to see if a clear film is not on the cartage??? Check the area by cleaning the ink cartage with rubbing alchole, and also the area that the ink cartage goes into. Use a cotton ball the clean these area with.

I changed the black ink cartridge as per instructions and the printer printed an alignment paper which i then placed in the printer for alignment but the alignment failed

the page should be absolutely new.and the scanner glass should be absolutely cleaned.and 1 main thing u replaced your black cartridge.but if your colour cartridge is empty it will not accept the allignment complete thing.it will show allignment failed as the particular colour is missing in your allignment sheet which is required to get the allignment complete.
