Videocard not working

My new radeon HD4670 does not work with Asus m3a78-cm mobo. It only boots up to windows loading screen then reboots again. It can boot in safe mode, but after some minute screen turns black. Even in bios screen the screen turn black. I installed it in a different desktop and it works fine.

Try removing the new card, booting into BIOS, change your video setting the slot of your card: I believe your card is PCI-E, save changes and exit. When it starts to reboot, turn the computer off, install the new card and then try rebooting again. You may also have to boot into Safe Mode\Uninstall the original video driver or disable that video component and then try rebooting your system.

Apparently yes. To determine that for sure boot in Safe Mode and run it there - the drivers will not be loaded so if it stops you will know it's a hardware problem.

I bought asus m3a78-cm board with via on board audio, with vista no problem occurred but with window 7 the problem started. everytime i on my pc, i will install again the audio driver. the problem repeated...

is this windows 7 32-bit OR 64-bit
you will need 64 drivers for all your hardware if you have migrated from a 32 to 64 bit operating system.
Windows7 64 bit still has some major bugs with certain sound cards.
Asus has updated drivers available at thier website, but they dont have them for all hardware, just the most current.
Hope this helps, post again if i can answer any more questions..
Regards!

Cpu fan runs at high speed all the time

the problem is that the mother board you are now using has a 4th wire that sences cpu temp this allow the heat sink fan to change speed to get this to work correctly you will need to replace the fan with a 4 wire style. what is happening is your not getting a temp siginal back to motherboard so the fan controller think it hot and send full power to fan alll the time the stock fan in hp systems is not very good any way .Get a good heat sink and fan to fit your new board ebay has them very cheap 5.00 to 20.00 this will all so increase you system temp and all get the proper cooling when you really need it.

Will not boot

try different ram....even though the specs say it should work and you have good ram it is possible the motherboard and the ram are not compatible. try some kingston or pny ram...if that doesn't work send mother board back...you may have a bad processor...even though new parts doesn't mean they are good.

ASUS P4S800-MX Boot / ISSUE

I'm sorry to say that I had much the same problem with a RMA'ed mobo from Asus. The one that came back worked for a short time, and then died.

I can't say that Asus is the only one I've had the same problem with, Intel has done the same. But I kinda expected more from Asus. I did not bother again, I just decided to do a mobo/CPU/memory upgrade at Fry's.

Sorry.
