Simply select "New Game" from the menu and overwrite your existing save file (or use another save slot) when you save

the game can hold up to 3 save files at any one time.....is there still 3 there but just not yours....if so somebody has overwritten yours.....are the other 2 still the same?????have they taken yours??????

The game does not offer an option to delete save files (although it is possible using the arguably risky method of purposely corrupting the file by, say, turning off the DS as it saves)

Load a save file you want to delete. Hit save on the same slot, and then eject the game while it's saving. Load the game again, it'll give you a message saying it corrupted a file and was deleted. Do the same for the remaining files, this doesn't erase your own file.

It worked for me hope it works for you too.
