Give me a examples of problem solving using AGONSA

I just reset the calculator, tried your example and got 1 in the first case, and 0 in the second. I did not have to do anything special.
I was able to do the same even with a y-variable into which I stored nothing. (The example is a tautology).
I checked the manual this feature is not documented. I checked the catalog and could not find a command Verify(. I have seen such command on less sophisticated calculators.
What is the purpose of such verification? Why not just use the solver if you have to compare more complicated expressions

There are a lot of ways to do it. One is to write a program using the cubic formula. If you just want the roots, use the solve() or zeros() functions.

For example, to find the zeros of x^2-6x^2+11x-6, enter
solve(x^3-6*x^2+11*x-6=0,x)
or
zeros(x^3-6*x^2+11*x-6,x)

Note that solve() has "=0" in it while zeros() does not.

solve() will give you an answer of
x=1 or x=2 or x=3
while zeros will give you an answer of
{1 2 3}
which plainly are the same thing, just expressed differently.

This calculator doesn't really support a solver like that. You can use Woflram Alpha to solve equations like that really quickly. Example
There are more expensive calculators that will solve these types of equations, but I would recommend just using Wolfram Alpha whenever you need a solution to a math problem.
