Good day, I have a Thomson 46RH44E ICC19(100hz) Projection tv, while watching it, the picture dissapeared and now the power light flicks red on and of, is there something that I can have done to repair it, I just love this tv and can't go without it, do I need to replace anything. Flashing red indicates internal shutdown due to fault protection.
Only a tech can diagnose the fault (and hopefully repair it).

this recorder is constantly getting bad reviews, I think it is unfair because mine does the job, however this problem occured heres what you do.
turn off at the mains and wait 20secs turn back on and hold the standby button untill a light appears.
in sequence up down left right menu ok press the buttons on the front of the box wait 60 seconds and the normal red light will appear turn on box and there you go.

you have a laser that has gone out blue or green take the face off and see which of the colors you need you can still find lasers on ebay if you need one but it will require someone with a little expertise to replace them. if this is not for you then its time for a new TV this is probably the best option its more expensive to fix in most cases than to replace..........I hope this helps
