The parts diagram with the manual does not show the part in the break down. It's right in the center of the trans and when you push forward on the drive pedal you can see the broken piece.

What make and model? Can you give a more informative description of the part than "broken"? Metal? Plastic? Color?

  • Anonymous Jul 11, 2013

It's an A22A46, it has the 22hp B&S, with automatic trans. The trans I pedal activated not handle activated. The part is on top of the trans and its plastic. It's kind of horse shoe shaped. When you press the pedal, you can see where the part is broke.

Sorry to hear about your problem...you aren't the only one having it. Sounds like a hydrostatic problem or a pulley freewheeling on a shaft somewhere. If you bought your tractor at Sears they might could help you---the husky and are the craftsman are the same. Husky uses a little better engine is all. Hope this helps.

I have the Frigidaire Model BFHS2611LMO Side by Side and the handle on the right side is very loose. I took off the rubber seal on inside of door but dont see any screws to tighten. How do I tighten

The model number is actually BFHS2611LM0. The handles have keyhole openings that fit over the pair of screws (near the top and bottom of the handle) on the outside of the doors. Try pushing the right side handle forward and down to lock it back onto those screws. If that doesn't solve the problem, push the handle up and then lift it off the screws. Then tighten the screws a bit (or replace them if they have stripped threads). Then replace the handle over the screws and push the handle down. Do not overtighten the screws; that can damage the door components. The manuals is available from Frigidaire's support site: http://b2b.frigidaire.com/support/manuals.asp . The support page for your refrigerator is here: http://b2b.frigidaire.com/support/ResultsPage.asp?strModel=BFHS2611LM0&User=&Search=Search . The parts diagram shows how the handles are attached; it's the last link on the support page.

I hope this helps.

2001 ford ranger 3.0 auto trans swap out with a 2002 auto trans

On Chevy transmissions there is, on the input shaft, there are two (2) little tabs at the 12 and 6 O'clock position or 180 degrees from one another. When installing the transmission these can often break leaving the transmission useless. It will need to be taken apart and checked on. If it is broken then you can easily replace it from a junkyard trans. (just look forward to a day in the yard tearing apart a transmission) and replace it accordingly.
Keep in mind when reinstaling the replaced transmission, that you HAVE to line these up by spinning the Torque Converter untill it slips on easily. otherwise it will just break again.

Where is the back-up light switch physically located? Is there a diagram available that shows the location? My Haines manual does not show it.

Hello jack isuzu
If you have a manual trans. with a 3.2 it's on top of the trans. if you have a 2.2 it's on the right side of the trans. My diagram does not show a seperate switch for the backup lights on an automatic
transmission, it may be part of the trans. gear position switch on the left side of the transmission.
Look for a red+yellow wire from the rear of the truck to the transmission, this wire runs from the
backup lights and you should be able to follow it back to the switch. Hope this is helpful.

I can't find reverse on my necchi 536fb. I inhereted the machine it's pretty old but works great. Sewing would be much easier if i had a forward/reverse button. Thx

See that button/knob at the lower right hand-side of the front? The center is a button you depress and hold to reverse. Good luck!

Stick shift

Hi:
The shift pattern is pretty much the same on all 5 speed cars. The top row is the odd numbers, 1-3-5
the bottom row is 2-4-Reverse. The center position is neutral

Here is the key: The shifter is slightly spring-loaded to the center position. If you hold in the clutch pedal and pull the shifter to neutral, and let go of it, it will automatically be lined up in the position, that if you pushed it forward , it would go to 3rd gear, and if you pulled it back, it would go into 4th gear.
This way, to start driving, you start out in neutral, grab the shifter lightly, and push it first to the left, then forward. This is first gear, where you start out. when you want to shift to second, push in the clutch, and keeping left pressure on the shifter, pull all the way back . Here is the easy part, 2nd to 3rd. When you are ready, push in the clutch, and just push the gear shift forward , till it hits neutral, and is spring loaded to the middle. Then you just push it straight forward to 3rd, then next shift, straight back to 4th.
Last gear, 5th: push forward to the neutral row, then Push to the right till it lines up ,and forward to the 5th gear. Reverse should only be shifted into from a dead stop. Find neutral, push the shifter all the way right, then pull back towards you. Hope this helps.
Practice a bunch in the driveway!

1998 Saturn Sl 1 Won't start some times.

I could not find any diagrams.......but it may be the park lock cable.. or you could have something jammed underneath the shifter.... a penny....or some other misplaced object that can slip underneath the cracks and cause it to not go into park all the way....the center console is fairly simple to remove a few bolts and I think a couple pop rivets.... a Haynes Manual on all the s series Saturns is available at your local auto parts store (advanced auto, auto zone, Pepboys) it'll run you like 20 bucks but will definately prove helpful to you ... Im looking at mine right now and it shows you how to completely tear it down and rebuild it.
