RS 232 pinout

You will need RS-232 to USB cable, Delta PLC programming software WPL Soft and computer. And for hmi communication you will need communication cable. You can communicate hmi with plc over RS-232 protocol.

I connect mine with the RS-232 cable in the side of my laptop. It's a Toshiba rinning Windows XP (nee Vista).

Since you're asking the question, I guess you don't have an RS-232 port. For my Vista machines without serial ports, I own a USB to RS-232 adapter cable. Sometimes, you have to go into the device manager and change the port assignment of these adapters to something in the 1-4 serial port range. That was common with the old software.

Is 25 pin or 9 pin connector?
In either case pins 2 & 3 are Tx & Rx data, you might have to swap them.
On DB-9 pin 5 is GND, on DB-25, Pin 1 & 7 are GND.

You need another cable (the metrologic cable doesnt work with the same configuration) and set the button in the interface card to rs-232 and program the scanner-scale with the programing tags.

I don't believe CRS provides pinouts for that scanner and cash register combonation. It would be easiest to just buy a cable from them or a local dealer.

I would suggest to go here to get a lot more info on how to program this receiver.

try unplugging and uninstalling the rs232 and reboot then turn off then plug the cable back in and turn on. it should detect and install.
