The VPC-S670 works with MMC and SD cards, which max out at 2GB.
There are nonstandard SD cards up to 8GB in size, which may (or may not) work with the camera. But make sure it's an SD card, not an SDHC card. The camera will not work with SDHC cards.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.
hi, the cheapest and quickest way to get one would be to go to the well known auction site and buy one from their, they cost next to nothing and you should get one within 2 days. You could also go to a camera or computer hardware shop and buy one from their but you will pay extra for the same product. You should also be able to buy one from any phone shop but these will cost a bit more.
The auction site is your best bet, so i would try their first, cant mention no names as we are not allowed to push sales to other sites but you can get them from their i have checked and they are cheaper than any where else
I don't think you need software:
*plug in you camera
*turn it on
*wait about 30 seconds. something asking what you want to do will probably pop up, choose the appropriate action
*also, you can go to My Computer, double-click the appropriate icon for you camera, (it may apprea as new "removable drive". if you se folders, just look through all the folders, to find your pictured, then just drag and drop.
did you turn of the camera?
the camera need to be on for the PC to detected the memory card.
you also going to need the Arcsoft PhotoImpression software. However, the software is going to cost you $40. if you lost the CD that came with the camera.
you should be view the photo with any of teh photo software you have on the machine.
