Hello, Thank You for using FixYa. I will be helping you today. Are any of the cycle lights lighting up like rinse and normal and is the light on front blinking and pausing if so how many times is it blinking? Try turning the power off too the unit for five minutes and back on, because if the lid was open some or was stuck it can stop the unit from running.

I have a Chamberlane Lift Master Professional I went to open it yesterday and it would not open. When the button is pushed the unit just clicks and the controller light is blinking 5 times then pauses and...

The code it is flashing is "RPM sensor or motor overload." It is not a door sensor problem. The RPM sensor is a small circuit board just in front of the motor.

Door stopped working when I was trying to adjust the door. Blinking yellow light on the overhead unit

The motor has a thermal overload that will turn it off it if starts to overheat. Normally a 15 or 20 minute rest and it will automatically reset. The blinking yellow light may be sending a code. If it blinks 5 times and then pauses and then repeats it is the overload.

Sensor problem with garage door opener. One of them has a yellow light the other a green. The door starts to close than stops. You can close it if you hold the button down inside and the remothe doesn't...

If it moves 6-8 inches and then stops it is most likely the rpm sensor.

Yellow and green are what the lights should be.

Does the led on the wall control blink?? If is does press the lock button.
If it doesn't you will need to reprogram the remote.

Watch the eyes as the door closes, does one of them go off? If so the track may be flexing causing misalignment. (Widen the track near the bottom)

If all of the above don't help check the sensitivity adjustment. Turn it about 1/8 turn clockwise and try the door again - continue this until the door goes full cycle without reversing. If you have to set the sensitivity past 3/4 the door needs to be adjusted.

Tv won't turn on and timer light is flashing

Look closely at the flashing light... Does it flash in a sequential pattern like 4 blinks, a short pause then 3 blinks, a short pause and then 1 blink or some similar pattern????

If so, then the light is not a timer light, it is a trouble indicator light and signals that a component inside the TV has failed testing when the unit tried to power on.

If not, then I have no clue about what you're describing as a timer light. I am unaware of the Misubishi having a timing light installed.

Air bag light blinks 4 times then pauses then 4

Common fault on FORD
Usually due to a poor connection in the YELLOW PLASTIC CONNECTOR underneath the passenger seat.

Just push it together properly and it should clear the AirBag fault

Won't open or close tries to run but stops

The fault code (4 blinks) is informing you of an issue with the infrared sensor that detects an obstruction in the path of the door.

It is ether misaligned or an issue with the wires leading to it or its faulty.

If the red beam is present at the sending unit (affixed to the doors frame), then it should be aimed at the receiving unit (affixed to the opposite frame) If the beam is received then there should be a green indicator light illuminated.

Good luck

I use nissan sentra 2002 my service engine soon is on for 2weeks

Finding out what the code number is, is the first step.

You can find this easily by watching the blinking yellow check engine light and counting the number of flashes for each of the numbers in the 4 digit fault code.

To do this without a code reader; sit in the car and turn the ignition on (do not start the car) and after 3 seconds push the accelerator pedal all the way down to the floor and release fully (pull your floor mat out from under the gas pedal). After the 3 seconds, do this 5 times quickly, in less than 5 seconds. Then hold the accelerator pedal down for exactly 7 seconds and release it fully. Then within 10 seconds, the yellow check engine light will begin to blink.

The numbers of blinks will go from 1 to 10. A 10 will represent a "0".

For example; 0303 would be 1st number is 10 flashes, short pause then 3 flashes, short pause then 10 flashes, short pause and 3 flashes. It will repeat this again if there is only one fault code. There could be other fault codes and you would count those in the same way.

The 0303 code means that you have a cylinder misfire in the #3 cylinder. This could be a fouled plug, poor connection between the plug and the coil or something else.

To erase the code hold the gas pedal down while the yellow light is blinking for about 15 seconds then turn off the ingnition. Code will now be reset and light will go out.

If for some reason you do not get the yellow light to start blinking, tturn off the ignition and try it again. You may wish to get a watch with a second hand as the time is critical as to the seconds between steps.

After you find out what codes you have, send back an email and we can document the actual codes and the problems you are having.
