I just changed the motor coupling in my Kenmore 70 series model 110 washer, the motor is running and the agitator still won't turn, could the transmission be shot?
You might have a broken brake cam driver or a worn out clutch. Easy fix. My notes.

Kenmore series 70 washer will only fill with water.
I recently had this problem. It was found that the main drive belt broke and the washer would fill but not spin, agitate or drain. I replaced the belt and everything worked again. A defective or disconnected cover switch would also cause the same problem.

This model has a safety switch in the door switch. This switch goes bad and the machine will not spin or agitate. Have that replaced and you will be back in business. Hope this helped you out. Good luck.
