Re: Paddle stuck to shaft of the tub. How can I get it...
Try soaking overnight with enough water to cover the paddle. If that doesn't work you can try my other method. Email me at [email protected] for details on that one.

Is it a front loader? You may have something stuck between the tubs or it may be a broken "paddle" One of the plastic baffles that move the clothes around in the tub. they should all be tightly against the tub.
The shaft of the paddle is bent. After frustrating discussions with Cuisinart customer service, I was able to free my paddle. First, you will notice that the paddle screws onto the shaft. Unscrew it. Then, take the nut off the shaft. Next, put a wrench on the shaft that is only slightly larger than the shaft, followed by a washer. Next, screw the nut back onto the shaft. Finally, holding the wrench at the end, hit the wrench close to the shaft with a hammer. If the shaft doesn't come out, hit harder. Since the shaft is bent, you'll need to purchase a new paddle.
If you baked bread in it and cannot get the paddle free, put enough water in the pan to cover the paddle and let it set for 5 or 10 min to soak the bread crust that formed between the shaft and the paddle. Then take a hold of the shaft on bottom of pan with hand or pliers to hold it still and try to work the paddle clockwise with other hand until it becomes unwedged from shaft. Sometimes it gets wedged on shaft pretty tight due to the beating against dough ball and cooked bread holds it tightly wedged.
First try soaking overnight with enough water to cover the paddle. If that doesn't work go to you tube and type in "how to remove a stuck bread machine paddle" Use a 1 gallon jug instead of 2 to start with, because if you have on of the thin pans 2 gallons might bend it. If that method doesn't work it may be impossible to remove.
Hi, If you take the bread pan out of the machine and can't turn the paddle by hand, then the sealed bearing in the bread pan is broken or stuck. Try soaking it in warm water a couple of times to try and free it up. If that doesn't work then it's time for a new bread pan (tub). If you take the bread pan out of the machine and set it on a kneading cycle but the motor shaft does not spin then it is a belt in the machine that snapped or fell off. Good Luck Hank
Hi, It seems the kneading paddle isn't spinning. Clean out the pan and take it out of the machine. Put the paddle on the shaft and see it it spins freely. If it does not, then the shaft is stuck or the bearing is frozen.
Next keep the pan out of the machine and start the bread maker up. Look through the clear top and see if the shaft is spinning. If not then the drive belt is broken.
If paddle is okay, and belt is okay, then the motor is broken. Hank
Using one of the bowls, filled it with hot water up to the shaft and where the paddle is hooked up. Using a cotton cloth, wrap it around the paddle and shaft, let it soak for 30 to 40 min. After 30 min, twist the paddle back and forth to loosen up whatever got stuck inside the shaft and paddle. Put a little of mineral oil so that the paddle will be easily remove and it will just slide out from the shaft.
