How to get rid of bluury pics

You need to configure the setting of the pictures, by removing it from blur to either sharp, soft or something else, click on the menu button of your camera to start the settings. The problem is as result of the settings you give your camera.

Blurry Pics

Does this happen on every picture? Sometimes if you change what you're aiming at slightly, the camera will focus.

Pictures are coming out blurry

On digital cameras it is always best to press the button half way down before taking the picture. This helps the camera focus, thus preventing blurry images. Always, always press the button half way down. Secondly, if you are still getting blurry pictures, there is a possiblity that the sensor in your camera is bad. I don't know how old your camera is or how long you've had it, but you would need to send it for repair, exchange it, or if it's under warranty maybe they'll send you a new one.

Fiji finepix s7000

Hi. From past experience I would say that these symptoms suggest the early stages of CCD failure. It usually starts with lines etc as you describe and progresses into wavy, blurry pictures or partial pictures and eventually the ccd just goes black. If it is CCD failure, the camera will usually still work when viewing pics that are already on the card.

Canon s200 digital elph will take the pic but it is all blurry, was working fine previously

Hey ednjoey2007,
The most common cause of blurry images is the camera moved during exposure so make sure to hold the camera as steady as possible. Another common cause of blurry images is caused by not holding the shutter button halfway down to achieve focus, and then press the button all the way down to take the picture. Another cause of blurry images on this camera is the AF assist beam is either blocked or set to off, and lastly if your subject is too close to the camera (closer than 1.9ft) your image will come out blurred. I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Allan
