2006 Ford Expedition blowing Fuel Pump Relay fuse

Try resetting fuel pump. I do believe the reset button is on the forward passengers side of vehicle. The button is behind the plastic shield. Reset once or twice. This hopefully will fix your problem. Look in your manual for exact placement of fuel pump reset button

1986 ford thunderbird fuel reset button

Ford generally put the Impact Reset switch, which turns off the fuel pump upon impact, back in the trunk over the wheel on the drivers side or within that area.

You just push the switch to reset. This is only for Impact related incidents though, and I'm not aware of any other switch designed just to reset the fuel pump or system except as added with anti-theft systems.

If you pump is not working, you may want to start with testing voltage to the pump itself and work backwards to the ignition and sensors.

Good luck!

I have a intex model 603 filter pump that keeps tripping the reset on the plug... it seems that when i first hit reset it will work for a few mins but then trip.. i can hit reset again and it will work...

Have you tried running an extra duty extension cord to another plug, not in that circuit?? Your GFCI may be bad?? Pump drawing too many amps and the breaker not rated for those amps.. Bad pump??

I would try another plug first and work from there...

1999 yukon air pump doesnt work replaced 3 times throws service engine light but after disconnecting battery air pump works again with no service light on ,but only for x amount of miles/start ups then...

Check for bare wires and loose connections. Spikes in the line could cause it to trip. The pump itself could be the cause. it maybe heating up or drawing more power after working continuously for some hours. That is the reason it works again after a reset.

The pump alarm light is on and there is water in the tank and nothing has changed, just stopped working. Have used the bleeder and water shot out and now will not work at all. Any suggestions

Press the on/off button once to reset the alarm and once again to start the pump.
If the auto reset light is on, the pump will attempt to restart in 30 minutes.
If the auto reset light is off, press and hold the on/off button for 5 seconds.

Wanted to no if there wAS a reset button after changin a 2005 cobalt fuel pump

GM does not have a reset button to reset the fuel system. The only manufacturer that I am aware of that does this is Ford. If the pump doesn't work than the first thing I would do is check for power at the pump. There should be two gray wires at the connector. The bigger one is power to the pump. If there is no power than check fuse and relays.

Pump stopped working while pumping

Yes, most motors are thermally protected. It is usually bi-metallic, and resets itself.
