The door seal is torn at the bottom and leaks water on the floor

need more info how much water do you see ie one or two cups off water on the floor and when do you see it ie as you switch machine on or how long into the wash program

Is the boot completely secure and not ripped or torn? The boot is the grey seal-like area that covers the drum. If it is torn at all, the water from whatever cycle, depending on when the water seeps through will end up on the floor.

If the washer only leaks during the spin cycle, you may have a worn door bellow (rubber seal). As the washer spins, the centrifugal force of the tub can spin the water into the door area. If the seal is torn, it will leak out of the bottom of the washer. You will need to inspect the perimeter around the door to ensure the seal does not have any rips or tears. To be sure, you need to remove the lower toe panel under the door and inpsect the washer thoroughly. The door bellow DOES wear out with age, but if you have a tendancy to overload the washer it can contribute to premature wear. If you determine that the bellow requires replacement, the following link explains how to replace one:

Could be door boot seal check for rips

Is it the bottom or coming out the door at the bottom? When your seal is bad it will leak, mine leaks only on handwashables and delicates. I have had to have my seal replaced twice in the three years i have had one, and the last seal was not put on right and leaks.
