I have an old Cascio Twincept Worldtimer Databank watch - 1328 ABX-60. Just changed the batteries. How do I get the alarm to sound and the hourly time signal to ring on the hour?

It's possible that some part in your watch hasn't been put back (properly) during the replacement procedure of the battery. I'd advise you to go back to the service point and let them check if all the internal part are complete (and in their right position)
Hello I was in the same problem the last 5 hours causea icant find my owner manual, i put a new battery on my "oldie" but great watch and pusshin and seting i got it....
You have to put in "alarm mode", remember you have to push BOTON MODE. Then you will be at "stand by mode", "data bank(phone) mode", "world time mode", "alarm mode" "chrono mode", and set (analog watch) mode"
then you are in "alarm mode" then push "REV and FWD BOTONS" at the same time, one time, or two times or three times, until the "beep icon and bell icon" are in ON mode
Do not lay the tweezers across any contacts as you may damage the watch. First you need to examine your watch movement and find an AC point (contact). Use an eyeglass, as the writings can be very tiny. When found, touch an AC point with one arm of tweezers and battery+ with another arm simultaneously. Some watches needs to do that twice, so, to be sure, do that twice. If
you are not comfortable with tweezers, you can use a thin wire,
connecting one end of the wire to AC point and another to battery+. Each shortcut should last for 3 seconds.
