Printer says offline and yellow light is flashing on the back of the printer where you plug in the network cable. Changed cable but it makes no difference. Any suggestions please?

If this is a new printer, chances are you may have left a piece of orange tape some where in the printer, otherwise you may have to remove the transfer belt, power the printer on and wait for it to say that it is missing, replace the belt and power on again, should fix it.

  • Keith Koene Mar 27, 2009

Not sure how to remove the transfer belt. I had this similar problem on 2 different printers in my office and one had some orange packaging tape inside it yet, the other one, I called a printer tech and he explained to me about the transfer belt. All I really remember is that is was an issue with the belt.

The yellow flashing light shows network activity and is quite normal. It flashes every time a message is sent anywhere on the network.

59.F0 error on HP color laserjet CP3505DN can you please suggest a solution for the above error on my printer urgenty

Transfer Belt Error Error code 59.FO. Replace the belt.

Don't confuse with 59.CO which is a machine problem, usually related to develop disengagement assembly. If someone has previously worked on it, then all it may need is a main assembly removal and replacement, with replacement being done to HP specs. (gear alignment and so on)

Hp color LaserJet cp2025 59.c0 error how to fix it

59 errors indicate one of the motors have failed. It could be a bad motor but also a bad cartridge will overload a motor and cause the error as well. If you have spare cartridges, try changing them one at a time and restart between changes to see if the error goes away. Also if the error only happens when you start to print it might be the fuser motor.

When i sand a test page the printer show an error 59.f0 what can i do

Pull the transfer unit out, and turn the white gear on the side. Not the one that turns the transfer belt--the one that causes the belt to push up against the toner cartridges. If the gear turns somewhat freely (it's not stuck), then reseat the transfer unit and see if the error goes away.

More comprehensive troubleshooting guide is here:

HP Color LaserJet CP352dn 59.fo error

59.F0 ERROR

The primary transfer-alienation motor has experienced an error.
1. Check to ensure the ITB is installed correctly.
2. Run a sensor test to verify that the primary transfer disengagement roller is functioning. If not replace the sensor (SR17).
3. Run the primary transfer drive test in actuator drive mode. If not functioning replace the ITB (Intermediate transfer belt).

Hp color laserjet code 59.fo error

All the book says is that one of the motors had a problem.
Power it off for at least 30 seconds. Power back on.
Make sure you are not using a surge protector.
Put the power cord directly into the wall outlet.

I just checked the manual for another printer and the 59.f0
could be the ITB. Make sure that it is seated correctly. If you have
a spare install it and see if problem goes away.
